Getting here: your first adventure

Already the journey to the Montivas Lodge, located near the San Rocco cable car station, is an adventure. Three roads take you to Livigno and all of them cross fantastic and unique landscapes. Travelling from the south-east you pass the Passo del Foscagno, the only road open all year round. Alternatively you have to drive through Switzerland. Either over the Passo Forcola, which is only passable in summer or through the spectacular, single-lane Munt La Schera tunnel, which connects Livigno with Zernez.

If you pass through Switzerland, you can also travel by auto train through the Veraina tunnel.
